A number of documents have been produced, describing simulators and other tools. However, more effort is required to bring all the documentation up to date either via the wiki or through written documents.

Simulator Descriptions

Simulator Manual - contains detailed descriptions of the simulator architecture. This is the base document upon which different versions of the simulator have been built. Needs updating to reflect latest communication protocols in v0.49 of the simulator.

ResQ Fire Simulator - sophisticated fire simulator used to simulate the spread of fire over buildings, taking into account building material, wind and other factors.

Traffic Simulator - determines how vehicles move around on single and double lanes. Also allows for one-way roads.

Map Configuration - shows how the map data is configured (to be used in displaying the map in a gui). It wil be useful to find conversion tools between this format and other GIS formats.

Rules - description of the rules for the 2006 rescue simulation competition.

Agent Development Packages

YAB-Api Manual - describes some details about the information communicated by the kernel of the simulator and how to use the protocol to talk to the kernel.
